The song became an overnight success on SoundCloud and now has over 99 million Spotify streams.

Lil Tjay’s melodic rap style draws influence from pop and R&B icons like Usher and Justin Bieber. A common theme in Lil Tjay’s music is resilience, especially since 2022 after an incident where he was shot seven times in the chest. His album “222” is a deeply vulnerable reflection of the life-changing event. Lil Tjay’s growing influence in the music industry demonstrates his dedication and the powerful impact of his music.
