Welcome back to our newsletter! Today we’re bringing you up to speed on our new reports and uploader updates, revealing the next guest on Too Lost Office Hours, and highlighting a dope Artist of the Week. 💫

What’s New: Exchange Rate Report 💸

We’re excited to share that our Exchange Rate Report has been added to “Reports” on the platform - available now with our other 40+ exportable report formats! As we deliver your music to over 450 stores and services in over 200 global territories, we collect royalties on your behalf in multiple currencies. This new report provides an overview of each currency exchange rate for all monthly payments.

We have backfilled this report section with historical data from June 2022 to the present day, and we plan to update this section monthly. Please note that these exchange rates are site-wide and applicable to everyone on Too Lost, meaning they are not unique to individual user accounts.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and will continue bringing more transparency and insight to your music business! 🤗

Uploader Update 💡

We recently improved mapping for store/service pages in the uploader. When adding participant roles to your uploaded tracks, you can now search and connect existing Spotify and/or Apple Music profiles to primary, featuring, and remixer roles. Also, if this is the participants’ first release, you can now define if a new profile is needed.

You can also connect and save these profiles in your Account Preferences. To ensure a smooth upload process, we’ve added the ability to choose roles directly from your preferences for all participants on the track level within the uploader. 👥

Upcoming Office Hours 💥

The next Too Lost Office Hours session is on Monday, March 4th. Drew de Leon, Chief Commercial Officer at The Digilogue, will be joining us to discuss the importance of building a community as an independent artist. Stay tuned for details on how to join the live session! 🥳

Artist of the Week: Jaylon Ashaun 🪐

Would you ever consider releasing a song before it’s completed? Meet Jaylon Ashaun, the R&B artist whose career took off in 2019 when he began releasing unfinished songs. Every week, Jaylon shared one-minute clips of songs he was still working on, naming them “rough drafts.” Fans eagerly anticipated more music, and artists were enthusiastic about collaborating to help complete the songs.

Jaylon is widely known for his acoustic tracks, which highlight his crisp vocals and thoughtful lyrics. Many of his tracks, including the feel-good love song “Strawberries and Wine,” have even more popular acoustic versions.

Recently, Jaylon released a deluxe edition of his album “NOMAD.” The deluxe album includes acoustic/live tracks and rough drafts, providing fans with an inside look into his creative process. You can stream Nomad (Deluxe) here: https://too.fm/qjyjzdm
