Artist of the Week: Blvck Svm 🌪
Listen to any Blvck Svm song and you might do a double take when you hear him rapping about things like wagyu and fennel-infused sausage. Blvck Svm is no ordinary artist; he’s a lyrical genius.
Blvck Svm entered the music scene in 2020 after losing his job due to COVID-19. Starting from scratch, he released a new song every other week. His first track, “bleach,” initially had only 300 listeners but now has over 75 million streams.
Inspired by the legendary MF Doom, Blvck Svm’s lyrics are open to interpretation, much like his idol’s. His smooth vocals, soothing ASMR-like delivery, and imaginative lyrics make each song a captivating mix of sound and storytelling.
To experience Blvck Svm’s unique style firsthand, check out his latest release, “fujifreestyle (max he remix)” here.
