Originally from the suburbs of NYC, he started making music as a hobby in middle school, but things took off after an early bedroom track he made in 2014, “Smile,” went viral. The chill jazz track blew up a few years ago and now has over 76 million streams on Spotify alone. Although “Smile” helped elevate his name and remains one of his most popular tracks, he’s received widespread acclaim for many other songs.
