Artist of the Week: Daju ☔
Daju is a rising artist from Hawaii who has been making waves in the music industry for the past eight years. Known for his soulful vocals and introspective lyrics, Daju, has captivated listeners with his latest single, "Rain." Released in July, the melancholic yet hopeful R&B track marks a significant moment in his career, showcasing his unique blend of emotional depth and smooth production.
Inspired by a week of rain in Oʻahu, Daju crafted a song that captures a sense of longing and introspection. A short clip of "Rain" took TikTok by storm, as fans were quickly drawn to Daju’s emotive voice. In just a little over two weeks, it garnered more than 500,000 streams.
Daju's success didn't stop there; artists like Kehlani, AJ Rafael, and Devin Kennedy gave their nods of approval. Plus, Spotify showed some love by featuring the track on popular playlists like Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Pop, Chill Pop, and others.
With "Rain" setting the stage, Daju is proving that he’s an artist to watch. His growing fanbase is eager to see where his musical journey will take him next, as he continues to share his soulful sound. Listen to “Rain” here: https://too.fm/mvdj8mz.
