Artist of the Week: Yoko Gold đź“€
Yoko Gold is an R&B artist from Toronto who’s achieved rapid success in just a few years. While collaborations with Tory Lanez and Trippie Redd offer a glimpse of his potential, it’s in his solo tracks where he truly shines.
His debut independent release, “Limbo,” received over 100,000 streams within its first month and secured a spot on Spotify’s Best R&B Songs of 2023. Known for his lush vocals, vulnerable lyrics, and an ear for production, Yoko Gold’s sound draws in listeners worldwide. His latest single, “Nothing Like Your Lips,” landed on several major R&B playlists and even earned him a feature on the cover of Spotify’s Mood Ring playlist.
This Friday, Yoko Gold drops his highly anticipated debut EP, Escape From Limbo. He shares that the EP was inspired by his desperation to break free from the comfortable state he found himself in.
