2-Minute Weekly Updates from Too Lost

What’s up Too Lost fam! 💜 This week we’re sharing an exciting music contest, an early look at some new releases, and more!

24/7 Artists: The Drop 🎤

We’re supporting our friends at 24/7 Artists to launch The Drop, a four-part songwriting challenge with over $10,000 in cash and prizes.

Here’s how it works:

🎧 Part 1: Create an original beat using never before heard samples from the Kip Carmen catalog.

✍️ Part 2: Write lyrics and record a verse over your favorite beat from Part 1.

🖼️ Part 3: Make the cover art.

🎉 Part 4: It’s time to release the track (via Too Lost, of course)! Use our Royalty Splits tool to ensure all collaborators get paid their share.

Too Lost Royalty Splits 💰

With so many artists, producers, songwriters, managers, and others involved in a release, setting up royalty splits can often seem daunting. Don’t worry! You can use our Royalty Splits tool to automatically divide the revenues generated from your music among your team.

Follow these steps to get started:

1. Head to Royalty Splits in the user portal and select “New Royalty Split.”

2. Select your track and add the emails and percentages for as many payees as you’d like.

3. Once the percentages equal 100%, hit submit! Collaborators can register for a free account here.

*If a payee doesn’t have a Too Lost account, they’ll receive an email prompting them to set up a free collaborator account.*
