Marian Hill is an electronic pop duo consisting of vocalist Samantha Gongol and producer Jeremy Lloyd. Gongol’s distinctive smoky vocals, combined with moody electronics and jazz-influenced saxophones, create a sound that’s sleek, intimate, and genre-defying—merging elements of R&B, pop, and avant-garde electronic music.
Their new single, “IT GOES…” features a looping hook reminiscent of “Tom’s Diner,” pairing Gongol’s hypnotic vocals with a Kaytranada-inspired groove that pushes beyond their usual style.
Stream “IT GOES…” by Marian Hill, out Friday!
Too Lost Artist Wins
Too Lost artist Felly’s track “There’s No Other,” distributed by Too Lost, was featured in Obsession, the indie horror breakout that has become one of the year’s biggest success stories. Nearly three years after its release, the track is finding a whole new audience and is on pace to become one of Felly’s biggest songs to date.
Current Joys, another Too Lost artist, also had their Too Lost distributed song “Kids” added to Obsession, further highlighting the impact Too Lost artists are having across film, television, and independent entertainment.
Obsession was made for less than $1 million, and the film has already become one of the most profitable movies ever, surpassing $100 million in the box office within the first few days of its release - proving that independent creators can make a massive impact without a massive budget.
Congrats to Felly and Current Joys on being part of a project helping define the next wave of independent entertainment.
